Kristin Nutall

May 27, 2010

Kristin has been a long time pioneer in the research and practice of Thai massage. With ten years of experience, she was of the first Registered Thai Therapists in Canada and is still one of the few Thai Healing Alliance International (THAI) Approved Instructors for the region. Kristin lived in Northern Thailand for two years where she taught English in a preschool and learned the Thai language. In her Reflexology and Thai massage studies, she has 800 hours in the classroom and over 3000 hours in practice. With her Thai language skills, her deep understanding and reverence for this sacred practice, Kristin has worked with the Thai Ministry of Health in translating curriculum material for the ASTI project, an 800 hour training program in Thai therapies.

Kristin loves integrating Thai Herbal Compress and Pre-Natal Thai massage into her practice and teaching. She has been actively expanding in other healing practices such as Craniosacral Therapy, Somato Emotional Release, Osteopathic fieldwork, Hakomi Counseling, Reiki and Doula training.

Teaching throughout BC since 2002, Kristin has been sharing rare Northern Thai style techniques with students of many backgrounds. Courses are open to all those who are moved to learn new skills in relating to the body, with something for Yoga teachers, couples and professionals in the field of massage. Classes are recognized for select continuing education credits with NHPC, Thai Alliance & STA. Visit her website for details: www.ancientthaimassage.ca.
