An Unfolding Dialogue on Buddhism and Neuropsychology is a free lecture by Dr. Steve Prime (University of Manitoba) scheduled for June 24th at 11AM in Vancouver.
Dr. Steve Prime is currently working as a CIHR-funded Postdoctorate Research Fellow in Dr. Jonathan Marotta’s Perception & Action Lab at the University of Manitoba. His research is aimed at better understanding the cognitive and cortical processes that underlie perception and sensory-motor coordination. He has developed a multi-disciplinary research approach that combines traditional cognitive and psychophysical methods with sophisticated eye tracking technologies, motion capture systems, computational modeling, and an innovative technique called trans-cranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
