An example of awareness, meaning and resiliency.

Dragon W. Brett Wilson helped raise over $85,000 for the Calgary Poppy Fund’s Veterans Food Bank, with a special fundraising concert this past week.

Admission for the event was a cheque payable to the food bank

“Every cheque coming in goes 100 per cent to the charity,It’s the first time I’m aware of that anyone’s ever said to the (concert-going) public, ‘Just bring a cheque, whatever (amount) you choose’–so we’ll see if it works, ” explained Wilson in the Calgary Herald in this article [http://www.calgaryherald.com/entertainment/evening+raises+vets/2293529/story.html].

“(The Veterans Food Bank) is more than just a food bank, it provides everything from wheelchairs and mobility, to support when guys need cash.”
