The Yoga for the Mind 8 week course is an evidence based program developed by Heather Mason as a therapeutic treatment for depression, anxiety, and stress. The course is a thorough investigation and journey into the body and the mind drawing on research from the psycho-biology of stress and neuroscience and translating them into yoga and mindfulness meditation techniques. During the course you learn various yoga postures and breathing practices to help you regulate your nervous system, while cultivating awareness of habits that give rise to suffering as you learn to transform them. There are several opportunities to attend the 8 week Yoga for the Mind Course both in and around London at a range of different times and locations.
