“Happiness in 88 blog posts” is a collaborative book, which gives you an overview of what is said in the blogosphere about happiness and well-being. Far from being a prescription for happiness, it aims to inspire you to be aware of what happiness means for you, in the context where you are.
Sales net proceedings are donated equally to the program “adopt a wish” by the Make-A-Wish Foundation (http://www.wish.org/help/fundraising/adopt_a_wish) and the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada (http://www.childrenswish.ca/). Please note these foundations are not endorsing “Happiness in 88 blog posts”, nor involved in its editing.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much will be donated to the US/CA Make-A-Wish Foundation?
With “net proceeds” we mean what we receive from online sales. For offline sales, during book presentations etc., net proceeds equal: (total sales) minus (books printing/delivering costs as charged by printer).
Are the post(s) credited to me?
Yes. At the end of each posts republished in the book, there is a short bio and the url of your blog.
How do I get updates about the results?
Updates to contributors about sales etc. are provided through an email distribution list, quarterly. In case of doubts – like unforecasted opportunities/challenges – we’ll invite contributors to vote about what they prefer to do. One blogger = one vote.
How will you create awareness about the book?
To promote the book online, we use our websites/newsletters, plus bloggers who donate their posts are invited to review the book on their site/newsletter. We are also going to use a mix of free/premium press-release distribution services, and contact friends/professionals who run newsletters etc. and are likely to be contributors themselves. To promote the book offline in Vancouver and Seattle, we’ll organise a free lecture about cultivating happiness and well-being. For other live events, bloggers will be invited to use their local network to create awareness about the book.
